The photo below was taken about 1954.
Four of us went to a Subic Bay bar/dance hall for
some beers. I am on the left (Herb Thylin). Jack
O'Neil is next to me. I don't remember the names of
the other two. This is the last photo that I have of
my 'Mighty Miss" days.

Attached are photos from Mispillion.
First photo was taken in Honolulu in 1962 during our
WestPac Cruise. I was DK2 at that time. Second photo
was taken on board Misspillion during the cruise.
Gene White was SK2 and Tom Arigo was SN. I forgot
the names of the other 2 guys. They were both
Storekeepers. I left Mispillion in 1963 for Naval
Station Sangley Point in the Philippines. In 1965 I
changed my rate to DP1 (Data Processing). I retired
as an E8 in 1976 after serving for 18 years and 10
